This Privacy Policy is issued by PUMA New Zealand LTD NZBN 9429039311771, a subsidiary of PUMA SE, PUMA WAY 1, 91074 Herzogenaurach GERMANY and part of the PUMA group of companies (collectively called “PUMA”, “we, “us” or “our” in this Privacy Policy). 

This Privacy Policy applies to our handling of Personal Information collected by us through a person's use of the website under the domain name nz.puma.com (“Website”) and orders for products customers place through the Website or the PUMA App in New Zealand ("App"). It also applies to Personal Information collected as part of our sales and promotional activities in New Zealand including at our physical stores or through promotional or sponsored events. This Privacy Policy also applies to our handling of Personal Information collected by us through our engagement with suppliers who provide products, goods or services to us and third parties attending our premises.  

The App is owned and operated by PUMA SE, PUMA WAY 1, 91074 Herzogenaurach GERMANY. The Global App Privacy Policy applies to Personal Information collected by PUMA SE through the PUMA App.

Your privacy is very important to us and we will always act to protect your Personal Information. We take this responsibility seriously and are very careful about how and when your Personal Information is collected, used and shared. This Privacy Policy outlines what our commitment is, why we need to collect Personal Information, who we may share that Personal Information with, and how you may request access to and correction of the Personal Information that we hold. 

What We Collect 

The type of Personal Information we collect is dependent on the type of service or interaction you wish to receive from us or provide to us. Personal Information we collect may include: your name, address, phone and other contact details (fax, email etc.), date of birth, gender, merchandise information (purchases, orders etc), device ID and IP address, recordings of you (as part of our CCTV when you enter one of our physical stores or attend our premises) and payment details, including method of payment. Sometimes we will also collect other Personal Information, such as where you shop or what your interests are, so that we can improve our service and product offering to you. We may also collect other information specific to a particular circumstance such as when you enter to participate in a competition. You may decide not to provide your Personal Information to us. However, if you do not provide it, we may not be able to provide you with access to certain information, products, or services. We do not store your card details in any way; they are secured by 128-bit SSL encryption and transmitted directly by you to our payment processing provider. 

How We Collect It 

The Personal Information we collect is generally supplied directly by you through our Website or App or to a representative in person (for example in a store or at an event). For example, the details you provide us when you place an order, open an account, subscribe to our emails, join a mailing list, enter a competition, attend a promotional or sponsored event, submit an enquiry, communicate with or provide feedback to us. There are also certain situations in which we may collect Personal Information about you from someone else. For example, we may collect information from third parties including public sources, our related companies, your organisation, your representatives, information service providers and other third parties as part of a jointly run activity or event. Where someone orders a gift for you through our Website or App, we may also collect from them your name, contact and delivery details.

We may otherwise use or disclose your Personal Information with your authorisation (or if we have given you notification of the intended use or disclosure and you have not objected to that use or disclosure) or where required or authorised by law, which may include emergency situations and assisting law enforcement agencies. 

Third parties to whom we disclose Personal Information may be located in Australia, New Zealand, United States of America, Germany and other countries. 

Collection by third party providers  

We use third-party service providers to serve ads and/or collect data on our behalf across the internet and on our website.  Some of these service providers may collect information about your visits to our website, and your interaction with our products and services to tailor marketing messages on our website and other sites or to trigger real time interaction, customise our website or enhance your profile.  Some of these service providers may be able to collect Personal Information that you share with this website via a web form automatically and prior to your pressing a submit button; and they may be able to use information from your visits to this site to send marketing messages to you in a way that may personally identify you. Use of The Website and App Outside New Zealand 

The Website and App are intended for New Zealand sales. This Privacy Policy governs the Personal Information collected at the Website or App irrespective of where you may be located when you visit the Website or App and interact with it. This means your Personal Information may be stored outside the country in which you are located and any government authorities which have jurisdiction over the Website may be entitled to access any Personal Information provided. 

Children 

We will not knowingly collect information from any unsupervised person under the age of 18. If you are under 18 years of age you must not submit any Personal Information to us unless you have the consent of, and are being supervised by, a parent or legal guardian. 
 
Your rights 

You may request access to, or a copy of, your personal information that we hold about you, subject to any lawful grounds that may be available to us for withholding information, by contacting our Privacy Officer (see details below). We reserve the right to charge you a reasonable amount for providing copies of any personal information you request, to take into account reasonable time, cost and effort involved in us complying with your request. 

If you request a correction to your personal information and we agree your personal information needs correcting, an amended record of your personal information will be provided back to you. If we do not agree to your request for correction, you have the right to provide us with a statement of correction sought, and request that we attach to your information the statement of correction sought but not made.  

We will process your request(s) promptly.  We may need to ask you to verify your identity so we can process your request(s). 

If you are receiving invitations, offers and promotions from us, you may opt-out at any time by selecting the “unsubscribe” option on these invitations, offers and promotions. Alternatively, you may contact our Privacy Officer with your request.
